光声成像应用的好伙伴来啦!

光声成像(photoacoustic imaging)PAI,是一种近年来发展起来的新的医学成像模式和成像方法。支持PAI的基本原理为光声效应,那么何为光声效应?个人认为以下用原子能级跃迁和能量守恒来解释,更加简明扼要----使用短脉冲激光照射吸收体时,吸收体中的分子吸收光子后,当满足一定的条件时,吸收体分子的电子从低能级跃迁到高能级而处于激发态,而处于激发态的电子极不稳定,当电子从高能级向低能级跃迁时,会以光或热量的形式释放能量。而释放的热量导致吸收体局部温度升高,温度升高后导致热膨胀而产生压力波(超声波),这就是需求的光声信号。

根据上述几条,有研究人员选取Nd:YAG&SHG 或者以GaAs & ZnS为主要工作物质的半导体激光器作为激励源。但是现在主流的研究方向均已OPO作为激发源,例如国内此领域的领导者深圳先进院医工所,均采用OPO方案。

   


三、 德国Innolas EVO OPO的应用

说到OPO,那我就不得不为我们厂家的OPO产品安利一波。Innolas OPO系列激光器沿用紧凑型设计,采用全铝一体化全铸铝激光头,增加整个系统的稳定性,其次OPO cavity与pump不分离,均集成在同一个激光头内,使混频在空间和时间上更加稳定。而最重要的是波长调谐方式的革新。InnoLas 的OPO不是采用传统的丝杆传动调谐方式,而是采用角秒计( Galvosmeter )来调谐,全波长范围调谐时间只需要 10ms! 因此 OPO 的输出波长可以和特定的脉冲序列同步!特别是在多波长成像对比中,这一优势无可替代。

TETRA – Rapidly Tunable DPSS Laser from Elforlight,此产品为Elforlight 在今年德国慕尼黑激光展中展示产品。核心亮点,4个波长输出,532 nm, 555 nm, 579 nm, 606 nm,总切换速度或者重复频率2000Hz,每一个波长可达500Hz,此快速切换多波长,实属罕见,加之4波长均在可见光范围内,无疑将会在PAT及MPAI等诸多光学生物成像领域出一份助力。
